This place is a winner. First time tonight went and picked up dinner. Great prices great service fantastic price. Chicken wings beyond reasonable. Their baked beans were the best I've ever had. Smoked chicken and smoked turkey were wonderful and I can't wait to taste the ribs. A MUST .... Get the homemade iced tea!

If chicken is your thing, you need to pay this place a visit. It's a BBQ joint that focuses on smoked turkey and chicken. I had heard about their smoked wings before my visit. IMO smoked wings are much better than the typical fried variety. The meat's flavor isn't lost and if done right, the smoke adds a distinctly unique twist. Gobble STOP's wings were good, meaty, with a touch of smoke. I still think the best smoked wings in STL are at Shaved Duck... but if you're out this way, and want some wings at an affordable price, check this place out.

Turkey barbeque is what this place does. If you ever watched the movie "Forrest Gump" you may understand how Forrest felt when Bubba told him how many ways to cook shrimp when you come here. Turkey about everyway you can BBQ. I ordered the chicken ribs. We all know a chicken has no rib that is possible to eat. They take the top part of the breast and leave some meat on the bone. My rib was served with a sweet and spicy glaze. The glaze was really good. My side was whipped potato salad. I love whipped potato salad and it was the star of my lunch. This is a small place that does a huge lunch business. My big take away is if you want to do lunch get here early it opens at 11am get here by 11:15 and you will be able to find a table.
(4)Jacqui P.
The best Turkey Place in town. Even if turkey is not at the top of your list for favorite foods..it will be when you leave here. I have tasted the Smoked Wings..Turkey Ribs...Fried Turkey Meatballs..and The Smoked Turkey Tenderloin Sandwich ...yumm yumm to everything. The meat is seasoned and smoked to perfection. And the mustard sauce on the Tenderloin Sandwich sealed the deal for me...I will be trying The Fried Turkey Sandwich on my next visit. The staff is very friendly and if there is a wait it's worth it!!

GREAT every.single. time. This is small restaurant in a strip mall with a sign that is really a tarp. Know what? ! Doesn't matter an inch. The food is where the quality is and I am not alone who thinks so. Besides the awesome Yelp reviews they recently won editor's choice in "The A-List" St. Louis magazine. As a person in IT, I even appreciated their website was more modern than higher tiered restaurants. They simply have their business together, minus one sign. :) Food: GREAT turkey ribs with zero grizzled fat on it. There are 3 huge meaty ribs and cones with a side. The bbq sauces are really good. Sweet and smokey is my favorite. The steak fries are really good. My husband loves the chicken here. The pulled chicken sandwich is his favorite and it seems everyone elses. I have not had the wings but I hear they are really good. They have some awards for them on the wall. 5 tables in the restaurant total. The restaurant is not made for a large group. They have a few outdoor tables. I would call in your order because they are so busy lately with the 2 TV promos they had over the weekend. TLDR: You can't go wrong with the turkey ribs and the pulled chicken sandwich! Hard to find something that is not awesome here! They sell out! Call in your order.
(5)Eylin Z.
I ordered turkey ribs, it was really really good... I wish I could give them 6 stars.. :p
(5)Deana L.
5 stars well deserved. I've never had Turkey Ribs before and I will be dreaming about how tender the meat was when I'm back home in California. The people who run the spot are extremely nice and I truly hope they have much success with their restaurant.
(5)Trent N.
I just wasn't impressed, maybe I had higher expectations based on the glowing reviews. It's just ok and does not offer any real mind blowing taste as I had anticipated, many other places are around that superceded this place.
(2)Vaughn K.
This place has some of the most incredible food. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and collard greens. Simple and DELICIOUS. They also gave us a complimentary order of fried green beans which were also incredibly tasty. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and every customer was treated like family. If I'm EVER back in St.Louis I'm DEFINITELY coming back here. (I also have an order of turkey wings which I'm DYING to try although I have to wait until the food coma subsides.)
(5)Andre L.
If you wanna know what a turkey rib taste like, you gotta go to the Gobble Stop, best turkey ribs and chicken wings....
(5)Ram W.
Best. Wings. Ever. This small family owned business deserves 5 star. I would hate places like this to go out of business because the food is simply incredible. I work 12 mins from this place and this is my new favorite lunch place. Awesome.

When you first enter here you may say to yourself, "Where's the beef? Where's the pork?" What you need to do is stop and think. What is the name of this BBQ joint? It's Gobble Stop Smokehouse and it is, "Where Bird is the Word". Which means their specialty is chicken and turkey. It's a specialty that they truly have mastered. So you'll soon forget that they do not offer beef brisket or pulled pork. I would have never discovered GSS if it were not for Brian M. organizing a UYE lunch. To my surprise it is just down the street from my dogs vet, so I know I will be visiting again and again. Now I will be requesting appointments near lunchtime, instead of the early morning. My lunch was the Smoked Chicken Wings and they were Gobble-icious. They were served drummette style and seasoned with their signature herbs and spices. They may have been slowly smoked, but I gobbled them up fast. I had the sauce served on the side, but was totally satisfied with the signature rub. As my side, I choose Green Beans which had pieces of ham. They were the perfect accompaniment to BBQ as they would be a Sunday fried chicken. I couldn't enjoy a new BBQ place without taking some home for the other half who was working in the yard. A Half Smoked Chicken with two sides would be the perfect reward. As his sides, I choose Cole Slaw and Potato Salad. He was so impressed with their Smoked Chicken, that he wants to check out their fried chicken in the near future. If you are in a hurry, I suggest calling ahead and ordering. The service is friendly, but is on the slow side of Southern Hospitality.
(4)Ben S.
I couldn't make the UYE based on scheduling conflicts but I did manage to make it in the very next day...and I'm glad I did! My coworker is not a fan of smoked yard bird but we got a look at them when we were deciding what to order so we both opted for them when we ordered. I went for the fried green beans as my side. My coworker who went with me had the same entree and the potato salad. There was an error with my order and it arrived with potato salad in place of the green beans which they told me to try while they corrected my order. Absolutely delicious! Big, smoky flavor. Great rub with a hit of sweetness and a hint of spice. Perfectly cooked with the skin mid-way between chewy and crisp. Also, served hot and in a large enough portion that I had a hard time deciding if I would finish. I will certainly be back...
(5)Brittney G.
This is the most delicious BBQ! No pork which is brilliant! This place has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and great service!
(5)Angela B.
I read the reviews and was not disappointed. I had the fried green beans which were amazing. They were fresh green beans coated in a not to spicy, just perfect seasoned batter and deep fried to perfection. Served with ranch dressing for dipping. I also had the smoked turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun. It was stacked high and rubbed with the perfect amount of spice. The meat was also smoked and was tender. These guys did it right with the mustard bbq sauce. Not to much because it was brushed on each slice of meat. I am stuffed. The only regret is I did not have room for the fried corn on the cob. Call ahead if you can. Keep up the great work!!!!
(5)Robert V.
Me and my son went there after we left the Movies and it just so happens that I know the Owners of the Establishment were we had Great Food and a Great time just like I was back in HighSchool all Over Again!!!
(5)Brian W.
Amazing! Smoked Turkey Tenderloin Sandwich was fantastic!
(5)Ebony L.
I'm not big on turkey as most overcook it but when I tell you the ribs are amazing and moist...The wings, fried corn, fried meatballs, and tips were great too. Friendly staff and very helpful. Definitely will be back whenever I am in STL.
(5)Chris K.
Great BBQ! All birds, all succulent, all good! The service was awesome. People were so friendly and accommodating. Loved the turkey ribs and smoked wings. The sauce MAKES it...one of the best. We'll be coming back!
(5)A B.
Awesome food. Owner staid open so we could finish dinner, well past closing time. Chicken and Turkey, so don't come looking for ribs and brisket. Try the mustard bbq sauce, it was fantastic.
(5)David W.
Yes, yes, yes, yes! I've never had Turkey ribs before so I was skeptical on whether or not this place would be very good, but decided to try it. We ordered the special pack that came with a little bit of everything. On top of what meats you order, it comes with bread and choice of sides. There is a really good smokey flavor, bbq sauce, and rub taste that just makes this place stand out. Definitely a place you have to try out The dining area is quite small though, so I wouldn't recommend coming with a bigger group.
(5)Stacken B.
I was searching for chicken places to eat for dinner tonight and I found this place on yelp, the reviews were good and the pictures also looked good, so I gave it a try. I must say we were not disappointed. I tried the smokey mustard BBQ Wing. Unlike other smoked wings I've tried, these were still juicy, and the sauce wasn't to mustardy. The corn on the cob, as shown on pictures is a cornmeal batter over the corn and fried. Shocking there was zero grease! It was extremely hot, even after eating majority of my wings it was still hot. It definitely holds the heat in. I would strongly recommend cutting it half so it will cool down. I ordered an additional side which was coke slaw. It was the creamy kind and that is exactly what I like and it too was delicious. My family and I will be going back. The overall price was good for the three of us.
(5)Danny K.
The gobbledown platter was really good and filling (fed 3 people) and the service was great! Will definitely come again!
(5)Jodi O.
YUM! We are from out of town & were super skeptical because it doesn't look like much from the outside! Stepped in & were greeted by a very friendly staff:) I ordered the turkey ribs based off the reviews & the steak fries((ask for a side of special sauce for the fries!!)) Prices are great & food is even better!
(5)Bill W.
Great food and nice folks. Delicious BBQ. The turkey has a rich, smoky flavor and the pulled chicken sandwich was wonderful. Everything my colleague and I ordered was very tasty. The fried green beans are yummy and the fried corn on the cob is a unique dish that tasted to me like big corn fritter. Yum! The place is small; there are but a few tables. But the atmosphere is lively and the host was congenial and thoughtful. Next time I'm in this area, I will definitely go here again. If you live anywhere nearby, you should definitely give it a try!
(5)Brad H.
If you are in the St. Louis area...run...don't walk...to this unique BBQ joint. Seriously...run there. Right now. Like several other Yelpers, I immediately think pork and beef when I think of BBQ...and this place has nothing of the sort on the menu. Now, I'm afraid, every time I go to one of my favorite BBQ joints back home in KC and order my favorite burnt ends or pulled pork...I will be wishing I had an order of Turkey Ribs from Gobble Stop instead. I ordered my dinner for carry out. Before I was even out of the parking lot, the smoky odor was, literally, making my mouth water. I got back to my hotel room and dug right in. The 4 Turkey Ribs were larger than I expected. The meat was a perfect smoky brown and pulled clean off the bone. When I think of smoked turkey, I immediately have images of dry, chewy meat that sticks in your teeth. This was none of that. Instead, it was tender and extremely flavorful between the smoke, the perfect spice rub, and the taste of the turkey itself. I asked for sauce on the side and never touched it...it just wasn't needed. I also enjoyed the potato salad. It was a creamy potato salad with just the right amount of vinegar flavor. A couple of caveats...they are not fast, so don't go here thinking you're going to run in and run out with your food like so much McDonalds. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. They also are only open until 7pm on weeknights. I highly recommend the turkey ribs and would have no hesitancy order anything off the menu. I cannot wait to visit them again next time I'm in town. Are you still reading this? Why? You could've jumped in your car and been sinking your teeth into a turkey rib by now.
(5)Eric J.
Perhaps the best meal we've had in St Louis. I hade the "turkey ribs". Girlfriend had the pulled chicken sandwich. Both were great. Perfect BBQ sauce for poultry. The best potato salad we have ever had.
(5)Charleen S.
Probably not a place I would have ever ended up, if it weren't for the UYE lunch crowd. I mostly thought I was going for the company, because I'm not a big fan of the bird food group. This place made me a fan! I ordered a pulled chicken sandwich with sauce on the side and steak fries. Less than $10 and the perfect amount of food for me. The chicken was really smoky and delicious. I didn't really use the sauce because the flavor of the chicken was so good it didn't need it. I tasted the sauce though, and dipped my fries in it because it was too yummy to be neglected. The steak fries were like I like them - crispy on the outside with a soft center. They have several side dishes that I probably should have tried and will try next time, but it was just a fry kind of day. The man who served us (owner?) was very friendly and patient with those of us who didn't know what to order. He also kept up with our drinks and brought us anything we needed while eating, even though it is an order at the counter kind of place.
(4)Patt C.
Thanks to Brian M. for organizing this stupendous UYE!! Steven B., Kat V. and Charleen S. were also in attendance. I got 1/2 a smoked chicken ($6.99) (sauce on the side), which comes with one side. Choices were steak fries, green beans, baked beans, potato salad, onion rings, corn on the cob and coleslaw. Premium sides available for a 50-cent upcharge: fried green beans, fried corn on the cob and sweet potato fries. I got green beans, and they had meat in them (ham?). They were great-tasting and a generous serving. The smoked chicken was juicy, tasty and just perfect. I did try the sauce (which I think was their sweet 'n spicy sauce), and it was good, but really, the chicken didn't need anything on it, except my face. The Diet Dew was on the fritz, so I got Diet Pepsi ($1.69). I had half of my chicken to take home, and snagged both Charleen's and Kat's pickles -- which were divine, and I ate them all on the spot. So, $9.05 for a terrific lunch with leftovers.

First impression is you need to call in your order (314)878-5586. Preparing orders takes some time. It was 4 people waiting and it took literally 25 minutes+. Now to what is important (how does it taste?). Well I tasted beef polish, turkey tips, wings and a chicken Philly, potato salad, slaw, beans and onions rings. Polish was tasty, philly fantastic, turkey awesome sides are special
(5)Vatoya D.
four stars on food was excellent turkey tips were awesome... however called in a order at 12noon still wasnt ready by 1.. Big problem... Get that issue rectified and no complaints

Very nice place. Found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. There is not much seating, but the place was nice and clean. As some others have mentioned, the shopping center here is not the greatest, but don't worry this place is nice. A friend and myself went here on Friday at lunch time. We were immediately warned that they were a bit backed up and there would be a 30 min wait for the food. As we weren't in a big hurry we decided to wait. We got drinks right away, and the guy working the counter let us know a couple of times that they were working on it and would have food up right away. True to his word we got our food - and it was worth the wait. Fries were extremely fresh and good, food was excellent. I will eat here again.
(5)Brandon B.
Great smokehouse in a strip mall. Very unassuming appearance but the food is awesome. Service was top notch. The people were super nice and took great care of us. Would highly recommend if in the area and looking for a great meal. We will definitely return!
(5)Rabbit N Bear D.
I'm giving then a 5 for the amazing turkey tenderloin sandwich. It was on a tasty pretzel bun with fresh portabella mushrooms, melted cheese, and the mustard BBQ sauce. The potato salad was creamy and pretty good. I look forward to going back ASAP!
(5)Stu S.
Cornmeal breaded fried corn on the cob. Its not greasy at all, the corn is moist and sweet, cornmeal breading is crispy and delicious. This is a must have. Pulled chicken on a perfect soft bun. Drinks served in real cups. Smiling people. Open 12-6 Sunday!!!! You will love it. Go see Damar he and the team are awesome. BBQ chicken worth driving for!!! Its clean, friendly, not greasy. Delicious.
(5)Jeff W.
Very helpful staff. I asked for their recommendation since this was my first time. They started reading the entire menu and I quickly realized they are very proud of the food they serve. I had the Buffalo Pulled Chicken Sandwich and a couple of turkey ribs. The food is amazing.
(5)Jeff M.
Fabulous Turkey Ribs- I had never had them before, but I will definitely have them again. Very meaty, just the right amount of smoke, finished with a tasty Hot BBQ sauce. For my side I opted for the potato salad and was not disappointed!
(5)R W.
These guys deserve every ounce of praise they get. Unassuming and wonderful. Everyone was very nice, when asked if it was my first time in employee explained the menu and offered suggestions. The food was fantastic. I have the turkey ribs and I will definitely be back, soon and often. YUM YUM YUM
(5)Andrew E.
Some of the most tender turkey I've had. The folks behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.
(5)Jacob B.
The food is fantastic and is always fresh! Owner is the most friendly guy in the world.
(5)Keith C.
Awesome food, love the service and people definitely love coming here to get "The Bird"
(5)Michael L.
Transmission broke down in STL on a crosscountry trip from Cali....Gobblestop was the silver lining of our delay! Arrived at 3pm and were treated like old friends by multiple people in the kitchen and behind the counter! Turkey ribs were recommended and turkey ribs were THE BOMB. The level of smoke in the turkey, the soft texture of the ribs, and the flavor of the sauce was BBQ heaven (this is a Texan's opinion mind you). Portions were generous and priced very well. Will definitely return again if and when I find myself in St Louis. Highly highly recommend.
(5)Greg G.
I always wait to review until I go a few times. I have now been here 3 times and they hit it out of the park every time. It is the most flavorful and juicy bird in town. I have tried the turkey ribs, wings, and half chicken. It is all amazing. This place is insanely underrated and competes favorably with Bogart's and Sugarfire. Please give them a shot. They deserve much more attention for a fabulous product.
(5)Laura K.
Excellent fried green beans and turkey sandwiches. Demond the owner is friendly and makes great food!
(5)Jeff M.
Go here. Get the smoked chicken wings, get them with the sauce on them (pick the BBQ Sweet & Smoky sauce), get the fries or the fried corn on the cob. You will be shocked at how little you end up paying for eight huge wings and drummettes and a generous serving of unsalted steak fries. You can thank me later. Since you WILL be back, next time get the smoked turkey tips, also sauced. I have no clue what part of the turkey is the tip, but you get a lot of them, and they are heavenly. I have been there four times since a friend recommended this place to me a few months back and I will be a regular from now on. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and if you are lucky they just might have some home-made cookies for dessert. Yum!
(5)Kat V.
Yummy! Major foodgasms! Hole in a wall. I came here for a UYE today for lunch. I got a pulled chicken sandwich with steak fries & sauce on the side. Perfect amount of food for me. Not tooo much & not tooo little & for about $11! I need to come back here to try the sweet potato fries & maybe the onion rings. The food came out in a perfect timing. Great service!
(5)Brady S.
I travel the country on a regular basis, and I've been to a lot of BBQ places in my life, but this is by far, hands down, the best smokehouse I have ever been to. Another patron had it right when they said "this is a diamond in the rough". If you are ever in the area, or you live here and have not been to visit the Gobble Stop you absolutely have to go!!
(5)Douglas K.
Ok....quick warning...if you go for dinner they may be out of some stuff. They close early and we got there about an hour prior to closing and they were out of about half their menu. I took this as a good sign...one, everything gets smoked fresh daily and two, a lot of people must eat there. On the suggestion of cashier, I ordered the Turkey Ribs...they were amazing!!! Its breast meat sliced so it still attached to the rib...smoked and smothered in homemade BBQ...yum!! My dad ordered the fried chicken sandwich and said it was great too. I am going back for lunch so they will be fully stocked on the food for the day.
(5)MARSHA W.
Forget all those other smoked bbq places and go here first. This truly is the best in Creve Coeur. The food is fantastic and when you go once no doubt you will go again. Every time we go here we here someone new say how awesome the food is. The turkey ribs and the fried corn on the cob are my favorites. You have to give them a try. They do not serve beef or pork but you won't miss it. The owners are friendly and helpful and they attract a very diverse clientele which says a lot for a small place with six tables. People come from everywhere to try it. Honestly the best food of its kind I have had!
(5)Ryan N.
Food, service, everything: 5 stars. The turkey ribs and tips are in their own class. This place should be on everyone's regular rotation. Places like this are what make STL so special.
(5)Dave H.
$7.44. That's all my dinner cost, and I ate like a king. Some of the best chicken wings I've ever had--smoked, not fried. And that's the important distinction: this is a smokehouse, not some greasy pub. If you've never had smoked meats, I pity you, for you have lived a life that is found wanting. To take the concept of smoked chicken (they do Turkey as well, but obviously I had the chicken) and then apply it to wings? Brilliant. They were delectably smoky and flavourful, thanks to the quality of their smoker and the excellent dry rub that was applied to them beforehand. Especially the drumettes--they were the best of all. A little advice--order your sauce on the side, because you might just want to eat these wings naked (the wings being naked, not you--although they're so sinfully good you might consider eating them while naked for a brief moment). I got the Buffalo sauce with some ranch dressing, but Demones, the guy working the counter, was kind enough to offer me any other sauce I wanted to try as well. (That's another thing--the customer service is really great here as well.) So after I tried a few wings with the buffalo sauce, another guy hand-picked out the sweet-and-spicy sauce for me, which was also quite good--but just make sure you leave plenty of your wing bare. If this wasn't enough, all items come with one side at no extra cost. I had the onion rings, which were quite good as well. I do wish they had some honey mustard to dip them in, but they were good enough not to need anything, and I dipped them in my wing sauces anyhow. To top everything off, the wings are piled high (you get 8, which is more than enough, especially with the side item) upon two diagonally-cut slices of white bread, which are wonderful finishers to your meal--especially if it was spicy--nothing's as good as bread for cooling things down. Everything comes together here. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a very inexpensive price, which is really helpful for those of us who are un-or-under-employed. I came here after a friend recommended the place on Facebook, and you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be recommending this place to my friends as well.
(5)Jinny P.
The food was amazing. The people were so nice. I told him it was our 37 th anniversary. He gave us a extra side. Baked beans which my husband loved. We will be bake. The smoke line on the wings were almost to the bone.
(5)Jason J.
Turkey ribs are very good! Fried corn was good and different but nothing I would drive out of my way for...I will definitely be back to try the turkey leg and pulled chicken. Very small place so I got take out but they do have a television on one wall playing football
(4)Brian H.
TURKEY RIBS. ARE YOU SERIOUS.. Yep HE IS FRICKING SERIOUS. The turkey ribs are awesome, yeah it us not technically ribs but the cut and presentation sure make them look like ribs. They are moist and tender, an absolute must try if you stop in at Gobble Stop!!!
(4)Andy W.
Instant impression: Family run, hole in the wall type place with potential. Afterwards: Outstanding. Amongst the best turkey I've had anywhere. They really deserve 4.5+ stars, not 4, but had to pick between 4 and 5 - being Mr. Conservative I picked 4, but, I'll go back again and if the experience is the same as this time I'll upgrade them to 5. [Went back - just as good - upgraded them to 5] I've never been to a smokehouse that not only specialized in turkey and chicken, but didn't even offer beef or pork. I was truly intrigued to see what the story was. We went last Saturday for lunch and found, surprise surprise, they are closed on Saturday! We returned the following Sunday to give them a try. The first thing you have to do is navigate the many options on the hand-written chalk board. Many, many choices - didn't know poultry could be prepared so many ways! The portions are more than adequate, and a side is include with everything. I had never had a turkey rib before (yes, turkeys have ribs), so I was obligated to get them. An excellent choice on my part! There were three ribs, each with A LOT of meat on them. Smoked wonderfully completely through with a very nice finish to the surface. The flavor profile was perfect. I ate them dry (without sauce) because I really prefer to enjoy meat the way the pitmaster wants it to taste, not adulterated by a sauce. I added homemade coleslaw, which was also very good. My wife had their chicken sandwich - definitely not a McChicken. Big breast on a pretzel bun with all the fixins. She could only put away half for lunch, and the remainder became lunch today. She raved about the flavor and even relented to give me a 'small' sample - I have to agree with her - it was first rate! My son had buffalo pulled chicken. The meat was moist and tender and not overwhelmed by the buffalo sauce. Also a good choice on his part. Bottom line: three choices, three winners. Strongly recommended, and I'll be back. Only negative, and it's small, is that the service was a little slow. I'm discounting that though because I'd like to think that was because each meal was being individually prepared.
(5)K.A. G.
At first it sounded weird - no beef or pork. Do not let this stand in the way of a fabulous meal. The smoked turkey was one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth! Who knew turkey ribs were the best part of the bird? These are the kindest, nicest people you will find and what they do with smoke is amazing. The aroma of the meat was like the best campfire you have ever experienced in the great outdoors. There is nothing like it!
(5)Angie P.
Have been in the area so much without noticing this place. So thanks yelp for helping is find Gobble Stop. Had the buffalo pulled chicken sandwich...with steak fries, abd boyfriend had the baked beans. Presentation was terrific. Loved the pretzel bun. Great touch. Chicken was tender and juicy. If you are trying to be health conscious, you may want to hold the onion ring and cheese, but they were great nonetheless. I'm ready to come back and try the wings and half chicken.
(4)Jeff B.
First time in there yesterday. Didn't really know it existed. First off, I thought the place was brand new. Things seemed a little confused behind the counter but the were super attentive to the point of checking my water glass VERY carefully before filling it and handing it over. And very friendly. I ordered the turkey tenderloin sandwich. Once again, I thought this place must be brand new because you could tell how carefully this sandwich was crafted. Seriously, it looked like they had prepared it for a food photo shoot. So you walk into this little hole in the wall joint that only serves smoked chicken and turkey (no beef or pork that I saw), and you think, 'This is gonna be some old fashioned, no-frills, down home food." Which of course would be good, but... the flavors of this sandwich were surprisingly complex and perfectly done. Smoked turkey, portabella mushrooms and sweet grilled onions. The sauce seemed a sweet dijon mustard based with a few other notes and was just awesome. I ate a piece of the turkey on its own and man it was good. Smoky but not too much, and the rub they must have used was really, really good. A pretzel bun was a perfect compliment flavor wise. It held up to the sauces well too. This ain't just homestyle food, somebody back there is a seriously good chef who knows how to combine flavors but also knows enough to not go overboard with them. As soon as I took a bite of the sandwich, I started kicking myself for just ordering fries as opposed to a "real" side. I'm absolutely sure that the sides are just a well thought out and prepared. Oh well, there WILL be a next time. When I think smoked meat, I always run for the brisket and pork, and very rarely for chicken or turkey. So I was pretty disappointed when I saw the menu. Nope. I'll be going back and I highly recommend this place to everyone.
(5)John M.
The food is really good especially the wings, and the staff is extremely friendly. Also the is right definitely a great lunch spot.

It's one of a kind. How many restaurants can you say have a menu that's really fun and different? I'm not sure how many places are like GobbleStop in all of the U.S. Certainly there's not another place in St. Louis that specializes in BBQ turkey and chicken, and you know you've got something special when at least one customer is anxious to come back (to try the smoked wings). The location and signage are both lacking - even if you know it's at Olive and Fee Fee, you won't see it from the road because their door and sign is recessed. Here's a hint: It's by the Antique Mall. The staff is all super friendly, the place is clean and the food is prepared with care. I've tried the pulled chicken and turkey tips and they were both delicious. If I have a complaint, it's that I expected pulled chicken to be white meat and not chunks of dark meat. I do think, though, part of the concept here is to make use of the chicken and turkey parts others have passed over. Pretty clever, I say, and the dark meat pulled chicken is probably a lot juicier than all white anyway. Good stuff, and a pretty unique taste. I can't say I've ever had chicken that tastes like this. One other minor complaint - the tips are hard to eat, about the size of meatballs, each with a bone in the middle. I have no idea where this piece of meat comes from. The staff is on top of the refills, although I'd prefer to do it myself, and like I said, very friendly and eager to please. I'll be back.

Not only was everyone there incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions but the food was fantastic!!! We had the turkey ribs and turkey tips and both were wonderful! We didn't even use bbq sauce!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, but they have funky Saturday hours (open at 5pm) and it seems I'm only in the neighborhood on Saturday. Anyway to the food... I ordered rib tips and one turkey "rib." Both were quite tasty. The rib tips came with a smoky bbq duce on them and they were good. The rib was even better. You could taste the smoke, but not too much so. Very tasty. Now to my favorite... smoked wings. The generous owner allowed me to try a wing and without a doubt this is what I will be ordering on my next visit. The wing was served with nothing more than a dry rub and frankly, that was all that was needed. This is coming from a guy who likes his chicken wings wet. The staff was nice and treated me well. I will return!

Mr D and I decided it would be a good idea to explore St Louis barbecue by starting a monthly Barbecue Wednesday. First stop was Gobble Stop since it is close for us and I had a coupon that needed to be used. I did not realize that they specialize in chicken and turkey. We were a little taken aback at first. I should compliment them for keeping focus on what they feel they do best. I am always complaining about places with too large a menu. So Mr D settled on a smoked half chicken and I had a pulled chicken sandwich. He said he liked the chicken which did look good although I suspect the breast part was dry. I sound like a broken record, but make some brine! My pulled chicken sandwich was very good. It was moist and had been seasoned a little including having some heat. I ordered mine without sauce and got a little sauce on the side, which I did not need. Their slaw was not overly sweet, just about right. The potato salad was yellow, but not strong of mustard. I think they did not spare the egg. It had a little sweet pickle but not so much as to make it too sweet. Both of these were decent efforts. Mr D offered me a taste of his beans, I was surprised that they were seasoned with cumin and only slightly sweet. They were a nice change from the typical. So while I can't go to four stars on the basis of one good pulled chicken sandwich, I will certainly go back and explore the turkey and chicken menu some more. I know Ms T will like the pulled chicken, in fact she ate the half I took home. It is nice to have these guys out in Chesterfield and all of you 5 star snobs, don't let my rating discourage you. Gobble Stop is A-Ok, at least.

This was somewhat difficult to locate if you are on olive. It is definitely worth the search though. This small Smokehouse is just as good if not better than the local heavyweight sugarfire. I had the buffalo pulled chicken sandwich and the smoked wings. I've never had or heard of a buffalo pulled pork anything. This sandwich is definitely for the spicy lovers. I will defiantly regret it later, but I could not help forcing it down my stuffed throat. The meat on the smoked wings literally fell off the bone. This is a hidden gem that will blow your taste buds away. It was small and crowded. I had to wade thru a sea of bears and twinks to get out, so try to keep your group small.

Oh yum.. I was a little less than excited about trying this place after the disappointment in the previous BBQ joint in the same location. After a long day of car shopping I found myself next door and thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately they were out of both the turkey leg and the corn on the cob, but to make up for it they threw in an extra side. That extra side ended up being what might possibly be the BEST green beans I've ever had in my life.. and being from KY (which is mostly the south) I've eaten a lot of green beans in my day. Sorry, Mom.. yours have been surpassed. The ribs were delicious as well, with a very generous portion of sauce. They offer it on the side as well and I'd probably do that next time. Huge portions, with 3 ribs and 2 sides I had leftovers for a midnight snack. I'll definitely be going back to try that turkey leg. One thing to note, their credit card system is a phone app. It's a little device plugged into a cell phone. If that makes you uncomfortable, be sure and bring cash.

I really would like to give these guys a 3.5 star if possible, but I rounded up because I am a sucker for BBQ. I did try the wings, and yes they are very good. I got the buffalo sauce and the hot BBQ sauce. I liked them both, but the hot BBQ was the more memorable of the sauces. I loved how everything came with a side as well. It is all very reasonably priced for the portion you get. Now onto my complaints: 1) Guy taking orders seems like he lived in a gigantic vat of molasses and was moving as such. 2) He was taking orders on a piece of white 8x10 paper with a Sharpie marker rather than any kind of traditional order booklet or even better a PoS. 3) He seemed not to be paying any attention, because I asked for a Mt. Dew with no ice, he asked me TWICE to repeat myself, and still put friggin ice in my cup! WTH!?!? 4) The beverage machine was behind the counter and only one person working the dining room. He was busy taking everyone's orders (Slowly) so I could never get a refill on my watered down Mt. Dew. 5) They don't offer a lot of detail on their sandwich items due to it being a chalkboard menu. This caused my lactose intolerant friend to accidentally get a sandwich with cheese on it. Since we were in a time crunch he just had to box it to go for his wife's consumption later and left hungry. 6) My jacket I wore in smelled like smoke so bad when I left it was borderline gross. After 3 febreeze treatments I am back in action however, but make that a lesson for you. If possible leave your hard to wash items in the car. All in all though, I still like it a lot for a good cheap lunch spot, and I will be back. I just hope the counter guy had his Wheaties the day I go and he gets his stuff together.

This is the best 'q I've had in the Saint Louis area, hands down. Delicious tender moist smoked chicken and turkey is the house specialty. While the very concept of a "turkey rib" may sound strange, let me assure you that it will be one of the best things you will ever have put into your mouth. The man knows his way around poultry.

I love me some wings. And I was so excited to stop in here on my BBQ tour of STL for some. Which is why I'm so disappointed. Don't get me wrong - the wings were okay. But that's all they were. The "flat" wings had a good texture, but the "drumettes" seemed dry on the outside. I also felt that the sauces weren't great. I tried the "hot BBQ" (not really hot, but good) and the "sweet and spicy" (which was almost more like a Chinese sweet+sour sauce - not what I expected and not a good combo with the wings IMO.) I thought the dry rub on the wings was better by itself! Maybe I should have just gotten the "hot" (buffalo) sauce, but I figured that in a BBQ joint the BBQ sauces would be great! I also got a side of the fried turkey meatballs. These were okay too, but heavy (they're stuffed with cheese). The kitchen also seemed to be having issues when I was there - food was slow, my meatballs didn't come out with my meal, and several other patrons complained about getting the wrong items. It was lunchtime, but it didn't seem like they were getting slammed. I was on the fence between 3 or 4 stars and that knocked them down a peg. Maybe some of the other items are better, but I didn't find the wings to be anything special. Good, just not the sort of amazing ness I'd expect from a specialty chicken/ turkey place.
(3)Samantha K.
Omg. So good. Pulled chicken was tender and perfect. The barbecue sauce - amazing. And the fried turkey meatballs... I can't even find the words to describe their amazingness so-amazeballs.
(5)Dominic C.
The food, when in stock, is excellent! If you're looking for really tasty bbq then you should come to Gobblestop
(5)Ariel H.
Read about this place on Yelp. I was craving BBQ and tried the turkey ribs and beans. The beans had a nice kick to them the way I like them and those turkey ribs..wowie. Great smoked flavor and moist just perfect. Will be back with friends.
(5)Liza I.
When I was eating meat this place is the best place for their Turkey Burger by far.... since then I am a vegetarian and love their veggie sandwich on pita... Cole slaw and potato salad is the bomb!
(5)Tim W.
Been here a half dozen times now and the staff there is awesome. Despite serving some of the best smoked wings I've ever had, they have the best green beans as well. Everything I've had there is top notch. They just need to learn how to brew some damn sweet tea!
(5)Janice R.
I also went into Gobble Stop Smokehouse looking for the old Olive Street Smokehouse. I had a craving for a barbeque pork sandwich and Gobble Stop doesn't serve that, they have chicken and turkey. I almost left--but decided to stay and give it a try anway. Glad I did. I had the barbeque chicken sandwich and it was really good. I also had the corn on the cob for my side--I'd highly recommend that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They've got new menu items coming also. I'm going to have to go back to try the rest of the menu but I don't know, I may be having barbeque chicken cravings for quite awhile now.

I'm here in St Louis for a few days and happened to be in the area and saw a few good reviews and thought id check this place out. The reviews and pictures don't do this place justice!! If you are questioning going put down the phone and get in your vehicle and head to Gobble Stop Smokehouse now! I ordered the buffalo pulled chicken sandwich, topped with provolone, pickles and a delicious bun. One side is free and I got green beans as well as ordering sweet potato fries. I also asked for some ranch dressing which was amazing, looked like they had fixed it up in the kitchen as well! Let me start by saying this sandwich is piled high with chicken, these are definitely healthy portions. As soon as I pick up the sandwich chicken falls out of the side and I take a bite and this is possibly the juiciest most flavorful chicken I have ever tasted and the onion ring, provolone, pickle compliment this perfectly. I asked the cashier what sauce I should use to dip my sweet potato fries and they said you won't need any, well I was thinking I always use some kind of honey mustard or sweet dressing, but he was right! These are perfect by themselves. The green beans were cooked with ham and remind me of how they taste down South. With the ranch on top of the sandwich the flavors were just amazing. They really put something magic in that smoker with that chicken haha! It turns out too good. Someone in the kitchen struck up conversation with me and even let me try some of their turkey ribs, which I had never had before, and were juicy, tender, and unmistakably unique BBQ sauce! These guys are going to be big. I've been working in KC for 9 months and am fed up with their hyped up BBQ, skip out on Oklahoma Joes, Jackstack, and Gates. come here and you won't be disappointed! Everything is good about this place and I wish I had more time to stick around and try everything they have. I would recommend this place to anyone that is in St Louis or would be visiting. I'm getting hungry again just writing this

HOLY. COW. 100% amazing. I have super high standards and despise most BBQ in St. Louis but this hole in the wall just blew me away! Turkey ribs and award winning chicken wings for the WIN. Even the baked beans, sweet potato fries, and green beans were delicious but still had their own special flavor. Holy cow!! Way to go Gobble Stop!
(5)Jd W.
Delicious food! Excellent service and friendly people! We have lived throughout the United States and this restaurant is TOP notch! We will definitely be patronizing this business regularly, and sending others their way! Sooo happy we found this spot! You gotta give them a try! Go Gobblestop!
(5)Zane M.
Had the turkey tip sandwich. This isn't really a sandwich- more like a pile of smokey and saucy goodness on a couple pieces of bread. These things are delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the pulled chicken sandwich. The employees are very nice as well.
(5)Douglas S.
Great food! Not super fast for lunch, but well worth it. I had a chicken Philly sandwich-excellent!! Don't pass it up.

This place is really a diamond in the rough! It's tucked away in a little strip mall off Olive, so you have to look closely or you'll miss it. I came with my husband and the owner was there with his mother. They immediately treated us like family -- I felt like we were in their home kitchen about to have dinner. The owner had several recommendations for us and definitely steered us in the right direction. I got the smoked wings and my husband got the turkey ribs. Both were excellent -- the meat was falling off the bones and though both dishes came with sauce, we barely used any because the flavor of the meat was so good. The sides were equally delicious, which you don't always see. We had the green beans and potato salad. The green beans were crisp and tasted just salty enough to bring out their natural flavor. The potato salad was creamy without being too heavy. We even got talked into buying a double chocolate cookie baked that day by the owner's mother. It was excellent, and tasted like grandma's home-cooking. I will definitely be back for more BBQ! My only suggestion is to invest a bit more in the decor. While I LOVED the food, the atmosphere is sort of cold and sterile. I probably wouldn't suggest this for a dinner with friends. The sign out front is just a latex banner. The inside has flat grey carpeting and mismatched faux-wood tables and office chairs. Also, the menu was hard to read since it's written out on a chalk board. I think if they made the aesthetic match the food, business would boom. That being said, you can't beat the food or the sweet family who serves it!
(4)Dan C.
I was craving BBQ all week and stumbled into the gobble stop. The sauce is sweet and spicy. Perfect bite to it. The turkey ribs were tender with a perfect smoked taste. I highly recommend the gobble stop for turkey and chicken BBQ.
(5)Mark B.
I had the turkey ribs and the fried corn on the cob, and both were AMAZING!!! The "ribs" were probably the best rib I've ever had, pork, beef, or whatever. The fried corn on the cob wasn't greasy or heavy at all, it had a very light coating of a corn meal based breading on it, and was lightly fried. The breading was crispy and delicious, and the corn was cooked perfectly. The person I was with had the turkey tenderloin, and he was very happy with his meal as well. Just be prepared to possibly have to make an alternate selection on the menu, when we went, there was only a few servings of ribs and tenderloin left. If you go there late or early, they might be sold out, or not have some things ready yet. But if what I had is any indication, I think you could get anything on the menu and it will be awesome!
(5)Marcia V.
Pulled chicken sandwich on pretzel bun - delicious. Tried my friend's turkey ribs and fried green beans - yummy. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Will definitely be coming back here!
(5)Darin C.
Stopped by here on 12/11/13 to try the turkey ribs and baked beans. Glad I did. Turkey ribs were moist and tender. Also they were so tasty you don't even need any sauce. Baked beans also had a wonderful flavor. Will definitely be back for more turkey ribs but will probably try the green beans as a side next time based on other reviews.
(5)Ben O.
"The bird is the word". This is the store saying and to put it bluntly, the best smoked chicken or turkey I have ever had! It does not look like much being in a strip mall dinner but oh baby! It does not even need the sauce! In fact, get all the sauce on the side and add it after the first bite if you still thing it needs something extra. I travel a lot and always make it a point to check out the BBQ that the locals rave about and this is great stuff! For what I would normally pay at the great smokehouses for a full slab of ribs I got three sandwiches and two salads. My family did not talk, text, complain or anything but eat! The pulled chicken sandwich came with a perfectly grilled pretzel bun and was stacked high! I was fortunate are and got the very last order of smoked BBQ wings... That is by far the best thing in the place and the other stuff was amazing! Seriously! Try it! I will absolutely be back and I live four hours away!

First time for Turkey Ribs. They tasted great and the sauce has a little kick to it. Owner sampled the turkey tips too.
(3)Jon G.
HANDS DOWN the best wings I have ever had. The texture, flavor and meat quality are all great. The white bread and hot hot sauce takes it over the top. The poultry BBQ concept works. Great service, you can tell these guys take pride in the food and want you to enjoy. Highly recommended!! Will return when back in St Louis. Yelp came through again with the recommendation.
(5)Doug M.
I had never heard of a poultry only BBQ joint before. That is, not until last Friday when the paper gave out reviews for five newer BBQ places. Gobble Stop Smokehouse was one of them, and received a pretty good recommendation. So what the hey? Thought I'd give it a shot. Amazingly, my experience was just about exactly like the review. The shop is in a strip center, is smallish with about a half dozen simple tables, and is neat and clean. We opted to eat in, and is was pleasant enough. The owners/employees are exceptionally nice and quite friendly. On that alone, I wish them great success. It seems they really want you to be a happy customer. I got the turkey ribs - bone in shoulders - and they were mmm-mmm tasty! The seasoning carried all the way through the tender meat; and their BBQ sauce was thick & sweet-smoky. My side of cole slaw, again, was just like the paper's review - cole slaw-y, which isn't a bad thing, and the tangy-ness complementing the smoky meat of the turkey ribs. The wife got a pulled chicken sandwich - well prepared, with a light smoked flavor, and green beans for the side. Green beans again were pretty standard, with some spices and meat for seasoning. Not sure of the meat, but I'd suspect some type of poultry. There were a couple other intriguing items on the menu that I want to explore on my next visit - marinated turkey leg, and Philly chicken sandwich. They both sound yummy! As of today, their website is still under construction. However, they do have a Facebook page with a lot of posts. One picture has a view of part of the menu, but they really need to put the full menu up somewhere!

Simply the best chicken wings my husband and I have ever had! Don't bother with the sauce, they are perfect as they are! They are smoked and are a very nice change from standard fried wings. They are not fatty, or dry. Simply yummy! My husband loves spicy foods and always goes for buffalo chicken when it is on the menu. He is normally disappointed with the heat and flavor of most buffalo dishes though. He said their Hot sauce is the Perfect blend of fire and flavor. We are currently living without a kitchen and have been eating our way through the Creve Coeur area. We have had three excellent meals from here, in the past four days, and will go back. Super friendly service, great prices and delicious food! The best restaurant we have eaten at hands down.
(5)J.D. H.
I don't generally order chicken when I go to a barbecue place, because I've found that most places showcase the brisket or pork with chicken being an alternative option that normally is not prepared as well. This restaurant however specializes in poultry, and the food is FANTASTICAL! My wife and I have eaten here several times and I have not found an item yet that was not completely enjoyable. The buffalo chicken sandwich is legitimate if you like spicy food. It's not plain Frank's Red Hot buffalo, but light your A$$ on fire buffalo. You have an option of having the sauce mixed with the meat or having it on the side. I haven't decided which way I like it better. With the sauce you get the full heat effect, but without the smoke in the chicken really comes through. It is a fabulous sandwich. On to the wings. I love fried wings. I don't like baked wings primarily due to how the skin comes out when baked. I was concerned when we ordered the wings that the skin would come out fatty and floppy, but they did not. These wings were PHENOMENAL! The skin was not soft and not too crunchy, but what really shines here is the meat of the wings. It is tender and comes off the bone clean with a great smoke flavor. The rub is well done to the point that I couldn't bring myself to masking it with a sauce. These wings do not need any sauce period. My wife and I have split the corn, green beans, and baked beans. I love the beans because they have a bit of sweetness, smokiness, and pepper heat. The green beans are also full of flavor. If I had to go by myself instead of splitting with my wife I would have a hard choice between the green beans or the baked beans. Nothing against the corn, but it's not even close to the beans. I read one review about the service here and I don't agree with the derogatory nature of the post. Is the service like the chain speed-shop restaurants...no, but nor should it be. Just to be clear, I don't think you'll ever get in and out of this restaurant in a jiff. I was also surprised that it took a bit for the food to be prepared. In many barbecue places the food is read to go and just needs to be assembled, but our meals did take about five minutes to come out. That may have been because we did order the wings and I think they may have not have been completely finished. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant, but simply put if you like barbecue, and you like chicken (or turkey), then this place will not disappoint you. Give it a shot.
(5)Bryce B.
I have to admit when I first saw the name of the company I was hesitant. Why would they corner themselves in the market by only serving Turkey and Chicken at a bbq/smokehouse? My favorite items at a BBQ joint are usually Brisket, Ribs and Pork. I was really confused. Until.... I tried everything. I had no idea what Turkey Ribs were, so I asked and they described them to me and then told me to hold on a minute and they would get me a sample. They were not what I was expecting and very very good. Dark meat, I believe, with a small bone it and smothered in delicious sauce. A friend and I decided to order a few things and split them. We started with the wings. They were smoked to perfection. I actually prefer smoked wings as they tend to be more moist, tender and MEATY. We tried ours with Hot Sauce and Really Hot Sauce. Both were delicious. I don't know if I will be able to stay away from wings in the future, although I do want to try other items. Next, we had the turkey meatballs. Again (like with the Turkey Ribs) I didn't know what to expect. WOW WOW WOW. You can see some of the Chef's creativity in this one. It was ground turkey breaded and deep fried. But the kicker was there was ooey gooey cheese melted in the middle and a great dipping sauce. We each ordered sandwiches as well. I got the pulled chicken buffalo sandwich. I was full but I couldn't put the sandwich down. The pulled chicken was tossed in buffalo sauce, had melted provel and topped with crispy onion rings and pickles. Man was that amazing. The other sandwich was a MCB, marinated chicken breast with provel cheese and peppers. The chicken was juicy, the marinade great and just over all delicious. I heard from the guys about these banana, white chocolate, walnut cookies too but unfortunately they were out that day. So I have to say I went in a skeptic wondering why they would limit themselves to just turkey and chicken but left actually blown away. It shows that they have narrowed their offerings down and put a lot of effort into creating amazing food with poultry.
(5)Pappy V.
Just had a phenomenal turkey burger. How did I not know about this place?! If you don't either, check them out. Awesome place, only serve turkey and chicken, but I can't wait to try it all :)
(5)Jared B.
Good Stuff. Wings are really good.
(5)Andy C.
I will echo what others have said, the food is delicious and the service is very friendly. I had the turkey "steak" sandwich which was fantastic. Not too much sauce and the bread was grilled just right. I had a side of fried green beans. Yeah, that's right.
(4)Jimmy Z.
Turkey Ribs? Who wooda thunk!! Fantastic, great fries, cookies, lemon something cake, my fav bbq, going back tonite!
(5)L C.
Being a vegetarian, I did not expect a lot of choices here, but I had the veggie wrap and it was fantastic! In fact it was THE best wrap I've ever had! Bright, colorful and bursting out with flavor in every bite! I also had the fried vege-turkey sandwich. It was a simple sandwich... simply loaded with crunchy perfection! :-) For chicken or turkey lovers, they just won first prize in the 2013 UCP Heartland Wing Ding for 'Hottest Wings' and 'Best Wings'! The turkey tip sandwich was voted 'One of 100 St. Louis Things You Must Try Right Now' and the pulled chicken has also garnered rave reviews from numerous restaurant critcs. They offer several very unique dishes: smoked turkey tenderloin, turkey "ribs", fried turkey meatballs, etc. They also have daily specials that you need to be sure to ask about! Save room for delicious homemade cookies! I had the banana-walnut cookie. Usually, banana cookies are dry and tasteless, but this one tasted just like I was eating a ripe banana! Ask for the chocolate chip-coconut-pecan cookies, if they are not already sold out! It takes a few minutes to cook all items fresh to order, but is well worth the wait! It is not a large place, but they have patio seating too. The walls are decorated with original artwork and posters of restaurant reviews. I already know what I'm ordering next time: vege-turkey sandwich, fried corn-on-the-cob and chocolate chip-coconut-pecan cookie!

First time visit to Gobble Stop today. Thrilled to find out they specialize in chicken and turkey, my favorites. We ordered the turkey ribs and the chicken wings. Both were falling of the bone and tasted absolutely wonderful. The dry rub on the meat had an excellent flavor. Also, tried the green beans and baked beans. Both were spectacular. The owner also brought us a new item to try that they were planning to add to the menu. On top of that, they also gave us complementary cookies. Excellent food and great service. I will certainly be back.
(5)Matthew B.
I'll keep it very simple. Delicious food served by people who want you to eat delicious food. Super friendly people. I will keep coming back.
(5)Dave M.
As a BBQ aficionado, I was a little worried about no pork on the menu. But GSS knows what it is and owns it. I had a pulled chicken sandwich with their house BBQ sauce and it was great. Really good smokey flavor, fresh bun, and great service. Would recommend. I will be returning.

2 words - Smoked Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(5)Brandon B.
Best meal for under $10 I have had in a long while. I got the pulled buffalo chicken sandwich. I made the mistake of letting my fiancé try it. She never gave it back... I ate her turkey tips which were unique and much lighter meal then pork tips. Service was friendly, gave us free cookies which were good. If it was not for yelp reviews I never would have tried. I will be back to try smoked wings for sure. You should give it a shot.
(5)Lena S.
Best buffalo chicken sandwich ever!!! Can't wait to come back. It's a small place but has great BBQ! And friendly service. Really.
(5)R. M.
I am pretty knowledgeable on smoked/BBQ foods and have gotten to the point where I want more than just the standard brisket/ribs/pulled pork type. The turkey ribs that these guys serve up hit the mark in every way for me. My girlfriend and I were greeted by the owner when we arrived and he walked us through the various types of turkey preparations that they have. As I said before, the turkey ribs were great, perfect mix of sweet and spicy and juicy. I had some of the smoked wings and it is clear why they are winning competitions with them and the fried corn on the cob was well executed with a great corn meal crust and not greasy at all. Cannot wait to go back soon.
(5)Sarah B.
A friend recommended this place. I will forever trust his good taste in barbeque. I have been twice in two weeks. I have enjoyed the half chicken both times. I am really interested in the unique choices of turkey. Will need to keep going back till we have tried them all.
(4)F D.
A nice find via yelp! Good turkey and chicken sandwiches. I will be back and suggest you try the turkey ribs and chicken wings.

Saw the ad in the Post Dispatch....Try the turkey tips... amazing sauce! Coconut chocolate chip cookies were a welcomed surprise yum!
(5)Kristi F.
Gobble Stop is soooo delicious! The BBQ and sides are very well portioned and priced just right! I am so excited we have a great authentic BBQ establishment in Creve Coeur now.
